1. Tamp 18 g fine grind 2. Insert portafilter 3. Brew for 25–30 sec 4. Yield ~36 ml shot


Moka Pot

Strong, earthy, smoky

~8 g → 80 ml

1. Preheat water in base 2. Fill basket with fine coffee (no tamp) 3. Assemble and heat 4. Remove when coffee rises into top chamber

Medium

Pour Over

Clean, bright, balanced

2.5–3 min

1 : 15–17

12 g → 180 ml

1. Rinse filter 2. Add 12 g coffee 3. Bloom with ~30 ml for 30 sec 4. Pour slowly in circles to 180 ml


Filter Drip

Smooth, mild, balanced

4–5 min

10–12 g → 180 ml

1. Place filter & coffee 2. Add water (180 ml) 3. Let machine brew automatically


Chemex

Crisp, delicate, clear

15 g → 240 ml

1. Rinse thick paper filter 2. Add 15 g coffee 3. Bloom with 40 ml for 30 sec 4. Pour in stages to 240 ml


Syphon

Full-bodied, aromatic

3.5–4 min (incl. heat)

1. Heat water in lower chamber 2. When rises, add 15 g coffee 3. Brew ~45 sec–1 min 4. Remove heat and let coffee filter down

Coarse

French Press

Rich, smooth, low acidity

1. Add coffee to press 2. Pour 225 ml hot water 3. Stir gently 4. Steep 4 min 5. Press slowly and serve


Cold Brew

Sweet, mellow, low acidity

8–12 hrs

1 : 8 (conc.) or 1 : 15 (ready)

40 g → 320 ml

1. Mix 40 g coarse coffee with 320 ml cold water 2. Steep in fridge 8–12 hrs 3. Strain and serve over ice (dilute if needed)
